Memorial Day - No School

May 30th

Last Day of School

Christian is one of our 7th grade Yeti's of the Week! This time in the school year, many students often find it difficult to be motivated. They tend to slack off and not care about their work. Christian has done the complete opposite. He has really stepped up his game these last few weeks. He can be found in any class at any time of the day working hard and getting things done. He's quite the whiz in math, too! Anyone who has worked with him can agree that Christian really is a human calculator! We are so glad you're a Yeti, Christian!

Meliah is our other 7th grade Yeti of the Week! Meliah shows a lot of grit when it comes to getting her work done. She values quality and truly strives to make her work the best it can be. She is also empathetic and kind, which makes others gravitate toward her. She is always so respectful to her teachers, too. Meliah also has a great smile that can light up a room! Thanks for being Yeti Ready, Meliah!

Jason was our 7th grade Yeti of the Week last week. Of course, Jason exhibits our Yeti Ready traits, such as respect and leadership skills when he collaborates. He has great character with perseverance and integrity. He's also a great artist, a loyal friend, and has an impressive ability to see the bigger picture. Jason has this amazing math brain that can work through problems and uses critical thinking to reason through a solution. We are so glad you're a Yeti, Jason!

Arena was our 8th grade Yeti of the Week last week. Arena's list of accomplishments is endless. She has spent the last two years here at Praxium spreading her wings and soaring to great academic heights. Taking on so many extra online high school courses takes grit and motivation that can only come from within. Arena has also been a valued member of Hope Squad for the last two years and has incredible dance skills! We know she will do great things in the future!

It is vital that students bring a charged chromebook and headphones all of next week. They will need them for the ELA ISAT's and we do not have enough to supply everyone with headphones. Thank you!

Science for 8th graders will be on Wednesday, April 10th

Math will be Wednesday, April 17th and Thursday, April 18th

ELA will be Tuesday, April 23rd and Wednesday, April 24th

We are so proud of our Yeti's and all their hard work at NHD State in Boise. They all did amazing! Thank you to all the parent chaperones, too! We appreciate you.

A BIG congratulations to Myriam Grover, Archimedes Corpus, Clara McBride and Connor Seaver for qualifying for NHD Nationals in Washington DC!

We are so proud of all of our hard working Yeti's!

We have noticed a shortage of basic supplies like pencils and paper. We kindly ask that parents take a moment to check your child's inventory and ensure they have the necessary materials. If there are difficulties in restocking their supplies, please let their mentor teacher know. We appreciate your cooperation as we strive to make a positive learning environment for everyone.

As we are getting closer to the end of the school year and upcoming ISAT Testing, maintaining focus and a positive attitude becomes increasingly crucial. It can be difficult during the last two months of school to maintain a positive attitude and care about schoolwork. We've noticed that some students have expressed feelings of disengagement, which is impacting the overall learning environment. Encouraging them to stay motivated and committed to their studies will greatly benefit their progress as we finish up the school year. We appreciate your support in discussing this with your students.

Requested classes for next school year have been submitted for our current 8th graders.

ClassChoice will be open to 7th graders to request classes in May. We will send out more information as we get closer.

**Please note, this is separate from Registration Day in the Fall. They will still need to attend Registration for their school of choice in August and fill out the registration paperwork online in May.

If you have any questions, please call the front office at 208-525-4466.

Thank you to everyone who donated cans or money during our canned food drive! We were able to collect over 700 cans! This will bless so many people in need! We couldn't have done it without you!
